Colin Murray launched HighRidge CFO in 2024 after years of working in corporate finance.
His mission is simple: to provide small businesses with the financial clarity they need to succeed without the high costs of a full-time CFO.

Before founding HighRidge CFO, Colin served as CFO for a private equity-backed manufacturer, where he gained extensive experience driving financial performance and operational growth.
These roles gave him a deep understanding of the challenges small business owners face and the strategies needed to overcome them.

Colin’s passion lies in educating business leaders about the key drivers of financial performance.
He believes that success goes beyond the numbers—it requires a focus on improving core business metrics, aligning financial goals with operational strategies, and making decisions that create lasting value.
Colin has a B.S in Finance from Miami University (Ohio), an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
